The middle cousin of “The Cousins” (44 years of age), older brother to Anne Pardino. A physical description from Detective Inspector Dawn Greencrest as follows: “Pardino has big, brown, lovely eyes. He’s not an unattractive man for his size or in general. Looks to be in his thirties. Shaved head, some dark stubble. Wears a neatly-trimmed, short beard, about an inch wide, that outlines his jaw bones from in front of his ears to his chin, the biggest portion of the beard below his lower lip and on and around the chin, almost being the bottom of a wide goatee. He has a diamond-studded, platinum earring in the lobe of his left ear. Four bejeweled, wide, platinum rings on each of his hands. A thin, platinum chain around his neck. He’s well dressed with a scarlet, long-sleeved shirt and black trousers. One of the sleeves is rolled up showing unusual tattoos on his left forearm – the head of a red bull with white horns and farther down the forearm some foreign words in a lovely script. He looks like he weighs about two-hundred sixty pounds, mostly fat in the torso. He has somewhat tanned skin. Probably stands over six foot, two inches tall.”
Tom is excellent with horses and spent a fair bit of time at the South Downs Raceway. Tom is not Gifted. He is however highly charismatic. Tom tries to joke about seemingly everything – his older cousin, Mathew, finds this to be a bit tedious at times. Tom will usually laughs at his own jokes.
Tom has a good relationship with Mathew. When they were children there was a bit of a rivalry between Tom and Mathew where Tom always tried to best his older, bigger cousin. This seems to have stopped in Tom’s mid-adolescence. Tom’s relationship with his younger sister has become more strained as the years in Avenmare have gone by as she thinks Tom has become too reckless and a danger to him, her, and Mathew. Tom says he can handle things and does not think highly of Anne having a string of lovers. Anne does not think highly of Tom’s string of prostitutes.
Tom thinks he knows more than he actually does. He does have higher than average intelligence, and higher than average arrogance. Tom loves conspiracy theories, he thinks they’re fun.
Tom tends to jump into things.
Tom does have some number of magical items. The one he uses the most is a small, of course platinum, device that always lights his cigarettes or cigars. Tom is a noncombatant and does carry on his person a magical item that shoots multiple projects per minute.
Tom is the operator and chief stakeholder in the Cousins eateries – two “sandwich” shops (the first being old Fallon’s where they first worked when arriving in the Capital), a pizzeria, and an upscale establishment a kin to the 21 Club in New York City. Tom also owned a company that made various types of fancy gaming tables for the well to do.
Tom was a gambler, as well as a carouser and whore-chaser of sorts, and racked up many debts throughout Avenmare that were bought and consolidated by former-criminal-turned-gentleman, Cristos Mineeo. Before Tom could tell his family members about said debt he was found drunk in an alley and held on suspicion of murder of a prostitute – his “favorite girl”, Pene.
