A description of Opunenza and his home as follows from Mathew Serig: “Adriano Opunenza of the Federated States of Appia. From what I had heard he was supposed to be a powerful mage, an advisor to the various nobles of Appia, a dealer of fine art and antiquities, and something of an eccentric. He lived in a fine, opulent mansion that was said to be more extravagant and refined than the palaces of most royals. All his servants were said to be the most beautiful and most handsome and dressed in the most lovely clothes and adorned with expensive gold jewelry. However, he himself was a simply dressed man, usually wearing comfortable, black silk trousers and light jacket/tunic, few items of jewelry, and what looked to be slippers or moccasins, no socks. He was said to be one hundred and seventy-five, but looked more like fifty-five to sixty, with very short cut salt-and-pepper hair and beard. Dark eyes, fair skin. Average to better looking man. Average height and build.
We arrived at Opunenza’s without any issues. The area he lived in had a Tuscany sort of feel. His “villa” was a huge mansion with architecture that looked like magic must have been involved. The same was true of the grounds leading up to the main entrance. Beautiful marble and bronze statues, roses and other flowers and birds carved so thinly that the marble actually appeared to be paper thin.
We were greeted at the entrance by beautiful male and female servants wearing silk and lace clothing of a some what ancient Roman style. The material was gauzy and the colors were bright sea greens and blues. The servants were wearing gold, simple, perfectly polished, gold bracelets, armlets, rings, earrings, necklaces, etc.
The main hall of the building looked like the inside of the Palace of Versailles with the high, curved ceiling adorned with wonderful frescoes. The hall was filled with brass urns of bright green plants and more statues and carvings of an obviously ancient nature. On the walls hung beautiful paintings of all subject matter and style.”
Opunenza wants to bring creatures and beings from the Demi Plane into the Mortal Plane to use as an army to take over Appia from what he sees as ineffective, spoiled, rich brats and start a magocracy so the people will be better off.
