A former soldier that served in special operations units, climbed to the rank of captain/mid-level officer. Now, 52 years old, Greencrest is still the quick, effective fighter her military training forged her into, perhaps even more so now although she rarely has to use it as a detective inspector for the Capital police. Still lean and strong with olive complexion skin and short, medium brown and salt and pepper hair that frames her face. Greencrest is a handsome women, not sexy or pretty. She has light, blue eyes and her father’s lean, angular facial features, and gets her height of five feet, nine inches from him.
The inspector dresses conservatively and for function – no dresses or skirts, only trousers, shirt, boots, and leather waist coat with long sword at her side. She has an air of authority about her.
Greencrest can have a fairly dry sense of humor.
The inspector still occasionally suffers from night terrors due to her time in the military.
Greencrest is smart and wise as well as even-tempered and fair.
Her career is her life, it gives her purpose. Greencrest has no romantic involvements and has no children of her own.
The inspector is aunt to the Gifted Paige Anders, part-time associate professor at the Academy.
As most detectives have, Greencrest carries on her person a magical wand that will allow her to temporarily stop the Gifted or others from wielding magic, as well as temporarily rendering someone unconscious.
