Harm for the sake of harm. Some of these gods really are cruel for the sake of it/enjoy it. Love/enjoy harm being caused and causing it, or just don’t care? Then these are the gods for you. Some of these gods really are frightening because of what they do, not because of how they look. Some of these gods want things to go back to the old days with the Hell being a place of absolute torture and thereby agree with some of the Gods of Benevolence on this point, albeit for different reasons. At least a few of these gods would like to burn/wreck some of the mortal world and/or simply make it their own carnival of pain of various kinds – physical, emotional, psychological. Some of these gods really like to scare mortals. Some of these gods enjoy bloody rituals and such. Some of these gods would like to create terrible monsters and beings. Terrible has many meanings – not all would be ugly or frightening from a physical point of view. Some of these gods of Pure Malice, like the Gods of Ill Desire, look for loopholes in the Treaty and/or places to push the boundaries where and when they can. Some are starting not to care that much about the Treaty and really never did. Some of the gods of Pure Malice are authoritarian and some are fairly reasonable. To some, being the god of some act of pure malice is just a job, and one they never asked for. Some are quite calculating and cool. Some quite charming. Some are the original governors of the Repository of Souls and then the Hell. The types of followers of the gods of Pure Malice range from the person who simply wants another dead to the brawler that goes to war because they like killing; the torturer; the jealous and jaded; as well as those that enjoy messing with peoples’ minds.
Ket: Ancient Birthed God God of efficient destruction God of orderly destruction God of discrete destruction A male figure of jet-black skin with features like the tribal people of the southern, hot plains; powerfully built; bald/shaved head, clean-shaven face. Black irises. Dressed in black professional garb – although can appear wearing whatever a particular worshiper deems is fit for a professional killer. Worshiped by those that want to cause harm and do so as quickly, efficiently, effectively as possible and move on. “It’s tedious, you know, having to hear prayer after prayer after prayer about killing someone, or destroying something, or wanting to rend something apart. Being worshiped for destruction is . . . eh, blah. Destruction itself being worshiped by so many mortals really does go to show the flaw in their design. I mean, destruction, killing, it’s so easy. Someone slips in the tub and breaks their neck. Someone falls down some stairs and cracks the back of their head open. A small child with a heavy enough rock can kill their sleeping parent. Destruction is soooo easy. It’s fixing things, building things back, healing things once they’ve been destroyed, that’s so difficult, and so seemingly under-appreciated by mortals. So easy to tear down then to build up. So easy to wipe away then it is to create in the first place. ‘God of efficient destruction’. Oh well. It’s the job I’ve . . . been given by some . . . thing. I do enjoy the perks. Hmmph hmmmph. Poor, old, Sella. There he sits in Perdition on his big, high throne, sulking about the mortals he helped to create. Hmph. So much for the ‘Gods of Creation’ being so wise and foreseeing. Of course, if they had created less flawless mortals I would not have come into being, and I do like being. Maybe someday I’ll get a chance to create, and then show Sella and his kin how’s it done right.”
Erradani Birthed God Female. Pale hair and high pony tail. Pale-skinned. Mascara/dark makeup around her eyes. Dark Green eyes, almost black. Wears an emerald-colored body suit. Lean physique. Called the Emerald Empress, the Emerald Lady, the Jade Lady, the Green Lady, the Queen of Curse. Worshiped by those that want to cause physical and/or psychological pain and want the victim(s) to suffer as much as possible. A fair number of her worshipers are inventive and creative in how they cause the pain and to them she lavishes what she can. Besides the obvious guesses of torturers and sadists and psychopaths, gaslighters and other manipulators also may worship Erradani.
Gods of Random Acts of Violence Birthed gods; siblings. The first is a male figure, big and bulky, hulking in nature. Lightly-tanned skin, Caucasian, not pale-skinned. Tanned from being in the sun over the course of countless battles. He sports a short, brown mane of hair combed so it looks like the wind has pushed it back. He is armored – not full plate. Shoulders, torso, greaves and feet, somewhat Spartan/Greco-Roman in style. Steel/gray-colored armor. Some furs can be seen under the armor. His helmet covers the upper part of face. No holes needed in the helmet for his eyes – he can see without eye slits in the helmet. He wields a big, rusty, iron maul (which sometimes he uses like a fine gentleman would a walking stick). He is like a bulldozer – heavy, but quickly runs towards his target. Like a hurricane just blew in. Lives to smash things for no other reason than to fight and wreck. This is the second version/incarnation of this god. The first was killed in the War of the Gods. This god was and is also a Lord of War (part of the group of gods of War). Second sibling – little, Asian-looking, female child about ten-years-old. Short-ish mop of dark hair. If she had her way: Skips around the marketplace slicing people in the back of their knees; nonchalantly, with one hand, pushing people down stairs; kicking puppies and cats into the air. The type that just goes around and does little, random acts of violence because why not and merrily skips along. Wears overalls and short-sleeved shirt. Simple shoes. Looks like a sweet, cute, innocent kid.
